The narrative starts in the elevated peaks of Nicaragua, home to the family-owned estate where they cultivate premium Caturra beans. Each May, the air fills with the fragrant scent of seasonal blossoms, signaling the start of a new growth cycle. These flowers eventually develop into coffee cherries beneath a protective shade canopy, ripening gradually over an eight-month period to allow their distinct flavors to become rich and concentrated.
Once the fruit reaches its optimal maturity, they harvest by hand and carefully process the seeds through washing and sun-drying before transporting them to the USA. To guarantee the highest level of freshness, Dewsy's utilizes a small-batch roasting process. This meticulous journey produces a balanced, medium-bodied brew characterized by gentle fruity acidity and inherent sweetness. By refusing to mix the harvest with other beans, we ensure that every sip delivers the unadulterated essence.

Coffee Profile

- Strictly high grown under shade trees (4,000 FASL), harvested by hand, European prepared and naturally dried.

- Moisture content between 11-12%.
Caturra is a high-quality, dwarf Arabica coffee mutation (from Bourbon) discovered in Brazil around 1915. Known for its bright, citrusy acidity, medium body, and sweet chocolate notes, it is a staple in Central and South American specialty coffee, commonly grown in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.
